On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, PT Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur (KSI) hosted a field visit as part of the Strategic Coordination for Regional Connectivity Development to Enhance the Added Value of the Western Indonesia Development Region in Banten Province. The event, attended by representatives from the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, the Banten Provincial Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), and the Banten Provincial Industry and Trade Agency (Disperindag), aimed to gain an overview of the current conditions, challenges, and potential for strengthening regional connectivity that can support increased economic value-added and the development of strategic areas in Banten Province.

During the event, the delegation conducted site visits to PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk, PT Krakatau Chandra Energi (KCE), PT Krakatau Bandar Samudra (KBS), and PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera (KBS) to observe firsthand the interconnections between the industrial, energy, port, and logistics sectors in supporting supply chains and regional economic activities. It is hoped that this visit will yield strategic insights to strengthen inter-regional integration, improve connectivity efficiency, and foster greater value creation for economic development in Western Indonesia.
